step 1

Marinate the chicken pieces in yogurt, ginger-garlic paste, turmeric, red chili powder, and garam masala for at least 2 hours or overnight.

Heat oil in a pan and cook the marinated chicken until it's lightly browned. Remove and set aside.

In the same pan, melt butter and add chopped onions, ginger, garlic, and spices. Cook until onions are soft.

Add tomato puree and cook until oil separates. Add cream and the cooked chicken. Simmer for 10-15 minutes.
